Fall PE at WES

It was great to have so many families join our second annual bike party. In PE class, we've been pondering and practicing what it means to be in control of one's body and bike. It seems like the lesson stuck with so many big and small bikers, not to mention 3 fire trucks in one parking lot and everyone did a great job of looking for those open spaces to prevent collisions. Thanks to our friends at the Waitsfield Fire Department and Mad River Path who joined us and agreed it was great to see all the kids' smiles.

As our bike unit is now wrapped up, we'll be moving on to focusing on the skill of catching and throwing. Our younger students will play games like "Clean Your Room" and "Fireball Tag" to practice these skills. While our older students will build up to a wiffle ball game.
